Hello Cathy!
To copy and paste text from an email or word doc, first add a text box to your page in the designer. Then highlight the text from your outside source (email, word doc, etc), use the keyboard shortcut keys crl+c to copy the text. Next, in EDOnline double click into the text paste and use the past short cut keys crl+v. The text will automatically paste into the text box.in reply to: How do I cut and paste text from elsewhere?Hello Adrienne!
Thank you! We are planning on having ipad support in the future, unfortunately we do not have an estimated time frame yet. We will keep you updated as soon as we have more information.in reply to: iPad compatibilityHello Dianna,
The best option is to make a copy of the photo, then you can place the two same photos next to each other over the gutter. Use manual mode in the advance menu to line up the two halves of the photos. This way you can leave a sliver of space to allow for the gutter of the yearbook.
This is a bit tricky. If you give tech support a call we will be happy to walk you through it, or help make it perfect.in reply to: Can I make two facing pages a spread?Hello Beth!
You can upload a png with a transparent background into a photo category.
Photos and clipart are handled the same in the designer. You can also upload a photo (jpg) and use the clipping tool in the quick menu to remove the background.in reply to: Clip Art TransparencyHello Tracy,
When you click on the photo in the insert menu, there is a green button at the top of the photo list will highlight and say “Set as Background”, when you click the button there will be options “Insert Left”, “Insert Right”, “Insert Both”.in reply to: BackgroundHello Alex,
I am sorry you are receiving this error. It could be that a page preview hasn’t fully updated. Please try again, or contact tech support to look into this further.Hello,
Sorry for the delay, to get the teachers to flow into the people page template, make sure the teacher has: “Faculty” in the Department field. If the template has a teacher spot the photo will auto flow in, if you made the template make sure to right click on the frame and change the tag to TPHOTO, and the name box to TNAME.
Hope this helps!
in reply to: Teachers in People PagesHi,
The choice to add body copy to a yearbook is completely up to you and your school, how ever if you are trying to meet CSPA (Columbia Scholastic Press Association) Standards, you are going to want to include a decent amount of body copy.
in reply to: Writing Body CopyHi Mark,
You can right click on the page you are working on to see different cursor types

A good first step is getting inspiration. Finding images you like on Pinterest or Google with start giving you a better idea of what you like and what you are looking for. Then its just a matter of getting your team to agree on a final theme.
