There is no way to archive the photos. One work around would be to move the photos to a category, and lock that category to admins only.
in reply to: Archiving photosWhich template are you referring too? If immediate help please contact tech support at 888-926-6571
in reply to: Template pages not loadingHello, Please contact support to review your specific concerns with the pages. The system will give low resolution warnings for any photos under 96 dpi.
in reply to: ResolutionNo nothing that will detect empty frames. I suggest using preview mode, or requesting a proof to find those.
in reply to: Finding empty placeholdersYes, you can upload a full cover or background. You can upload the file as a jpeg or PDF. Just make sure it is 300 dpi and the correct dimensions 8.75 by 11.25 for a page with bleed. Your cover dimensions can be found on your Ladder page.
in reply to: Making your own background or coverHello, Here is a great article to get you started in uploading the yearbook photos. If you have any further questions, reach out to our tech support team. They can help walk you through any steps you are stuck on.
in reply to: Uploading Pictures- Professional PhotographerUnfortunately there is no way to make a curved line in EDOnline. You can use a circle and have it bleed past the cut line. It will not effect the printing.
in reply to: Curved lineYou can setup “Online Ad Sales”. Here you can choose the price and sizes you want to offer. You can also choose an amount that you want to sell if you only have a set number of pages.
in reply to: Parent Ads/Senior TributeYou can add the information in the “custom” field in the people page details. Then choose a template with a custom field from our list of templates. The custom field form the details will flow into the field automatically.
in reply to: Faculty/Staff PagesYou are correct, you would just make sure the first photo is tagged with TEACHER_2 and the aide will flow in to the 2nd teacher spot. The aide also needs to have the faculty tag in department.
in reply to: Adding Aide on Class PageYes, If you add a text box to your page. Then type the headline, then go to the Advance Frame Menu, Assign the text box a shape, we have couple shapes to choose from that will give you close to a wave feel. Then, select the check box, “Draw text on path”. That will move the text to the outside of your text box and follow the shape.
in reply to: curved textUnfortunately, there is no way to make a custom frame shape at this time. We are hoping to implement something in the future
in reply to: Custom FramesThe only way to scale change the size of multiple objects is to click on the frames, then go to the advance Frame menu on the right and type in height and width measurements.
in reply to: Is it possible to scale a group of elements? It sounds like the drop shadow feature is turned on. You can remove this by clicking on the frame then going to the top menu bar, and clicking on “frame” then unchecking “drop shadow”.
in reply to: Text appears to have gray backgroundWhen your inside the designer there is an option on the left panel to Move pages. This will open a pop up to re-arrange the pages of the yearbook
