Overview

Tagging photos allows you to identify which students appear in specific images. This makes it easier to place portraits, locate students for candid pages, and ensure everyone is included in the yearbook.

You can tag photos manually to speed up the process.

Step-by-Step: Tagging Photos in the Photo Library

1. Go to the Photos Section

From your Yearbook Dashboard, click Manage > Manage Photos

Open the folder that contains the photos you want to tag.

2. Select a Photo

Click on a photo thumbnail to open it in the preview window.

3. Tag the Person

Click on the Add New Tag icon

Start typing the student’s name — matching names from your portrait database or student list will appear.

Click the correct name to apply the tag.

4. Add Multiple Tags

Repeat the process to tag multiple people in one image.

Review and confirm or correct the name before saving.

5. Save Your Changes

Once all individuals are tagged, close it

Tagged photos will now appear under that student’s or staff's profile and can be searched easily.
