Overview

You can create coupon codes in your Online Store to offer discounts or special promotions for yearbook sales. This is a great way to encourage early purchases, boost sales, or reward specific groups (like staff or families who pre-order early).

You can set the discount as a percentage (e.g., 10% off) or a flat dollar amount (e.g., $5 off), and limit how long the code is active.

Step-by-Step: Creating a Coupon Code

1. Go to the Link Coupons Page

From your Yearbook Dashboard, click Sell in the left-hand menu.

Select Link Coupons.

You’ll see your Total Points, Points Used, and Points Left displayed at the top of the page.

2. Review the Pricing Chart

The Pricing Chart shows how design points can be converted into coupons:

Yearbook Coupon – 0 Design Points

Ads Coupon – 0 Design Points

Order Forms – 1 Design Point per 4 Packs (1 Pack = 25 Order Forms)

Posters – 1 Design Point per 10 Posters (1 Pack = 1 Poster)

💡 1 Design Point equals 100 Order Forms or 10 Posters.

3. Choose Your Product Type

Use the dropdown under Product Type to select the item you want to create a coupon for:

  • Yearbook
  • Ads
  • Order Forms
  • Posters

4. Select the Discount Type

From the Discount Type dropdown, choose:

  • Coupon Percentage (for a percent-based discount, like 10%), or
  • Fixed Amount (for a dollar-based discount, like $5 off).

5. Enter the Discount Value

Type the value for your discount.
For example:

Enter 10 for a 10% discount, or

Enter 5 for a $5 discount.

6. Add Coupon Details

Coupon Free Shipping: Choose Yes or No.

Expiration Date: Click the calendar icon to select an end date.

Coupon Use Limit: Enter how many times this coupon can be used. (Enter 0 for unlimited.)

Coupon Code Name: Type the code name families will use at checkout (e.g., SCHOOL123 or EARLYBIRD10).

7. Create the Coupon

Once all fields are complete, click the blue Create Coupon button at the bottom of the page.
Your coupon code will now be available for use in the LINK store checkout.
