This article will review the steps to draw text on a path or in other words, type in the shape of a circle or other shape in the EDONext designer.

Step 1) Click on your text box in the EDONext designer so it is highlighted in red

Step 2) Click “Frame” from the top menu and then select “Transform” in the drop down menu:

Step 3) In the next pop up menu, select “assign shape”

Step 4) Select the shape you would like to type in. For this example I am selecting the circle:

On the page, your text box should now reflect the shape you selected:

Step 5) Next, double click “text settings” on the right menu and then select “paragraph settings”

Step 6) Select the text box next to “Draw Text on Path”

Once selected, your text should now be on the outside of your frame

Step 7) Adjust the size of the circle and the rotation of the frame by using the blue circles until you are happy with the orientation of your text
