When you are in the cover designer. You can click on a frame (ie: clipart, text, shape) then use the right click menu to navigate to “properties”.

In the Properties Menu, change the “Frame Tag” to “SCODIX FOIL – “

• You can have multiple frames with the tag and they will all be printed with the foil color
• You can do both the front and back cover
• You must make sure the SCODIX DOES NOT get too close to the edges, over the SPINE, or is in the HINGE.
• Photos and Clip Art will all be printed MONOCHROMATIC – so if the image has multiple colors – it won’t print that way. 
• Don’t use photos of people – stick to monochromatic images
