Photo Challenge 5: Life Outside of School 🏠
There's more to your students' stories than what happens during the school day!
Life Outside of School helps you collect photos that showcase your students' interests, personalities and passions. It's also a great opportunity to feature parts of their lives that your yearbook staff may not normally get to see.
Encourage families to submit photos such as:
- Hobbies
- Sports
- Pets
- Gaming
- Art
- Dance
- Music
- Cooking
- Clubs
- Collections
- Other favorite activities
These photos can help you tell a more complete story of who your students are both inside and outside of school.
Use the Challenge 5 Template
We've created a coordinating Life Outside of School template in EDONext to help you turn your submissions into finished yearbook pages.
Once you've collected your photos, choose your favorites and drop them into the template. Add names, captions or details about each student's interests and activities.
Where to Find the Template
In EDONext:
1. Open your yearbook project.
2. Navigate to the page where you'd like to use the challenge template.
3. Open Templates in the Designer.
4. Search “Photo Challenge”
5. Select the Photo Challenge 5 template and apply it to your pages.
Collect Photos From Your Families
Copy the ready-to-send email below, add your photo submission link and submission deadline, and share it with your families.

Please submit photos by [DEADLINE]. When submitting, be sure to include the student's name and grade.
