Overview
In Entourage Yearbooks, each staff member can be assigned a specific role type that determines what they can access and edit within the yearbook project. Understanding these roles helps you manage permissions, maintain project security, and streamline collaboration among your team.

The 3 Staff Member Types

Administrator

  • Has full access to all areas of the yearbook project.
  • Can manage staff, set deadlines, approve pages, adjust store settings, and submit the book for production.
  • Best for advisors or lead coordinators who oversee the entire project.

Editor

  • Has design and editing permissions inside the EDO Designer.
  • Can create, edit, and manage pages but cannot approve the book for production.
  • Ideal for teachers, staff members, or advanced students helping with page design.

Staff User

  • Has limited permissions, usually for uploading photos or submitting content.
  • Cannot make design changes or approve pages.
  • Perfect for students, parents, or volunteers assisting with photo uploads and content collection.

💡 Tip:

You can adjust a user’s role anytime by going to Manage > Manage Users, selecting their name, and choosing the appropriate Staff Type from the dropdown menu.

Having the right roles assigned ensures smoother teamwork and prevents accidental changes to key project settings.
