  • In yearbooks and school photography, an index (sometimes called a PSPA or PSPA disc) is the list of student names and their corresponding photo file names. Yearbook software uses this index to automatically flow student portraits onto the yearbook pages.
  • PSPA stands for Professional School Photographer Association.
  • The index typically comes as an Excel file or spreadsheet included with the CD or digital folder containing student photos. It is usually organized by:
  • First name, Last name, Grade, Teacher (if applicable)
  • Having an accurate index is critical for successfully uploading and flowing your student photos into the EDOnline People Page Designer.
