When designing your yearbook, it’s important to set up your pages with the correct dimensions to ensure a professional print finish.

Standard Page Size

Trim size (finished page): 8.5" x 11"

Bleed Requirement

To allow artwork, backgrounds, and images to extend to the edge of the page after trimming, you’ll need to include a .125" bleed on all four sides of your page.

Total Page Setup

Final document size with bleed: 8.75" x 11.25"

This setup ensures that when the book is trimmed during production, there won’t be any unwanted white borders around the edges.

Quick Tips

✅ Keep all important text and design elements at least 0.25" inside the trim edge for safety.
✅ Extend all backgrounds, colors, and images past the trim line to the bleed line.
✅ Double-check your settings before exporting your final file.

By following these guidelines, you’ll make sure your yearbook pages print beautifully and exactly as you designed them.
