Moving Pages

If YouTube is blocked on your current browser, Click Here.

You’ve completed personalizing some or all of your pages, but you’re not satisfied with the location of the page.  You can either use our Simple or Advanced Page move features. (NOTE: this feature can only be used by staff members with Administrator status).

When moving pages you should plan and think about the following:

  1. Do I want to keep my page spread(s) together? (Simple Page Moves)
  2. Do I want a single page moved to a different location? (Advanced Page Moves)

Simple Page Moves:

If you have chosen the option to do a simple move, an entire page spread can quickly and easily be shifted while other yearbook staff continue to work on their pages.  Inside the page designer, in the left toolbar, click on the Move Pages button under Actions.

A popup window will appear with previews of your page spreads.  Click and drag the page spreads you wish to move into a new order.  Once you are finished, click Confirm Page Moves.  Click Reset Page Moves to refresh the original placement of spreads after the last time you confirmed page moves.

To move a single page in your book, click the Advanced Page Moves button in the lower left corner.

Advanced Page Moves:

With the Advanced Page Moves function, you can move a single page from one location to another.  (Note: In this option you can break a page spread.  If this is not desired then it is recommended to use the Simple Page Moves.)  Unlike in Simple Page Moves, no other users can be inside the page designer when using the Advanced Page Moves.  Page locks will set if this occurs, preventing you from moving pages and/or entering the page designer.  To unlock your pages, go to Manage Page Locks, which is available under the Manage tab.

Click and drag your pages to their new desired locations to re-arrange. We suggest moving pages up in the book (for example: page 5 to page 1).

There may be instances when you may bump pages from your ladder into an area we’ve labeled Unused Pages at the bottom of your screen.  If this happens, you will need to re-place this page back into the desired location.  (Warning: If you commit your moves before replacing pages from the Unused Pages, the page(s) will be deleted from your ladder.)

You can also insert a blank page or delete pages from your ladder.  Hover your mouse over the page, click the Delete Page button and press OK to confirm.

Click the Commit Page Moves button to confirm your page moves.  Return to the Page designer by clicking on the Back To Page Design button, and resave the pages on their new locations.

Moving Pages in your Account Ladder

Another way to move pages is by clicking the Move Pages button in your Book Planning Ladder by going to the Manage tab then Manage Ladder. This will open the Move Pages window.

You can also delete book pages in your book planning ladder. Hover your mouse over the page, click the red X button, and press OK to confirm.
