Setting up a LINK page

You may have photos you’d like to show off from an event that will occur after you’ve approved your book for print. If so, LiNK pages, combined with a QR code on your one of your yearbook pages, would be a great solution. A LiNK page is a free web page specifically for your school hosted by Entourage!

To begin creating your LiNK Page, navigate to Manage LiNK, available under the Manage tab in your main account dashboard.

At the right side of this screen, click on the POLLS/PAGES tab

Click the + ADD NEW button. You’ll be prompted to provide a name for this page as well as a description to start.

Once these details are added, select Add Page and you’ll move onto a screen where you can set the status of your page, what photo categories and videos you’d like to display on your page, and view Facebook and Twitter links you can utilize to share your page on social media.

There is a preview of your web page to the right that will reflect changes as you update the settings, along with a long blue hyperlink: the current URL of your page.

From here, you can generate QR Codes and add them to your yearbook pages before submitting for print. (The web page does not have to be active or complete for the QR code to be generated or placed in the yearbook.) Open the page in the yearbook designer where you want to add the QR code, click the QR Code button on the left menu, and select the drop down menu beside Type to either:

  1. Select Custom URL: copy the URL from the LiNK page and paste it in the white box.
  2. Select LiNK Page: simply choose from the list of LiNK pages that you have created.

Then, click the Generate QR Code button. The QR code will appear on your yearbook page, ready to be scanned by smartphones.

How do we check that the QR codes that we are using in the Yearbook have the correct link to a Link page? Once we’ve set them in the yearbook we would like to double check that they are linked to the correct page.

      Hi Cate,

You can scan the QR codes on your screen to check that they are going to the right URL. If that is not working for you I would suggest requesting PDF prints of the page so you can print it out and scan it. You can do this by going to MANAGE LADDER -> and clicking on the PREVIEW BOOK button. Under the digital book preview, you can enter your email in the “Request a New Preview” section of the page, this will send you a PDF of your book right to your email.

If you have any more questions while you are doing this, you can call us at 888-926-6571 ext 2

Hi guys!! I created a link page but I can’t figure out how to upload my pictures and design it! Could you help?

    1. Upload your photos to any photo category in Mange Photos. Then on your LINK page you can attach that photo cateogry to the LINK page.

How long are link pages active to families? Indefinitely? And they will not be asked to pay? How do they log and have access to link pages?

    1. LINK pages are planning to be around indefinitely. That being said I would say at least the next several years are safe. You can only access LINK pages through QR codes from the yearbook, they will not be prompted to login.
