You can sell a specific inventory of books. This feature is perfect for schools that only wish to sell a certain number of books, mainly for in-school distribution.
The feature, as mentioned in the image below, allows you to limit the number of books you sell online by setting an inventory. Once the inventory is used, the store will stop allowing the purchase of your book on LINK. If you reach your deadline before all inventory is sold, the book will no longer be available to purchase as well, unless you choose to continue Post Approval Sales. School Fulfilled Post Approval Sales & Managing Inventory
Inventory can also be set to continue after approval. This inventory will be based on the books you’re purchasing at approval that you will then have on hand to distribute in school yourself.
Under Post Appproval Sales, you’ll be able to set up the option to continue online sales after approval.
You can select a number of leftover books to sell in the dropdown under “Number of Leftover Books To Sell Online”. Depending on how many books you selected to purchase during approval and the number of books you’ve already sold in the Track Sales section of the website, you’ll see a list of the options for your inventory.
You’ll also select a deadline for your inventory sales.
Once you officially approve, your setting in the Set Up Online Sales page will be updated to your preferences.
