How to set up LiNK for Your School Community

Entourage LiNK is a website designed to connect you to your school community. You can allow users to upload photos and content that you can use in your yearbook project. You can also use LiNK to sell your yearbooks online, and/or sell yearbook ads. You can also set up LiNK pages, which are web pages for your school sponsored by Entourage, where you can upload photos and videos that you might want to add to your yearbook project at a later date. These pages are usually connected to a QR code that you place in your yearbook in advance. You can also view the E-yearbook through LiNK, which is a digital version of your yearbook.

Set Up Your Yearbook for LiNK

In order to utilize all these features, you must first allow LiNK access to your book project. You can do this by clicking on Manage LiNK from the Manage drop down menu in the main account dashboard.

From Manage LiNK you are going to focus on the Setup MY LiNK Account section of the website.

Associating Students to LiNK Logins

When someone who is interested in using your LiNK website logs in and chooses your school, they might have to associate a student to their account. You can choose if you would like them to do this by student name or student ID. Because typically parents use the LiNK website to buy books and ads, the student name tends to be the easier option for them.

Online Store

If you are planning on using LiNK to sell yearbook ads or yearbooks, you will have to turn on these options in Manage LiNK. Click the CONFIGURE buttons to set up either yearbook sales or ad sales with more specific instructions on how you would like your community to go about doing these things. LiNK Application

We also have a LiNK app that your community can download on their phones or tablets to upload photos and videos. This is a great option for students working with the yearbook club or students in the school. They can upload their school photos to any photo category you set up in Manage Photos. Then, you can choose what photos you are going to use in the book. Links to download the app and to set up permissions can be found by clicking the MOBILE tab under Manage LINK. It is up to you to choose what your community can and can’t do. Click the check box next to any field you would like your community to be able to do.

LINK and Mobile App Permissions. Click the check box next to the fields that pertain to what you would like your LiNK community to be allowed to access to.

Allow Photo Upload and Content Submission. Choose what you would like your LiNK community to upload and submit to you through LiNK. You can choose if you would like them to upload photos or videos, add photo categories, and upload other content like PDFs. You can also allow your LiNK users to view all uploaded photos.

Note: users can only upload photos and videos using the mobile app, while PDFs and other contents can be uploaded in your LiNK website.

Once you have all your link settings assigned, make sure you click the blue ‘Confirm LiNK changes’ button at the bottom of the page

To see your LiNK page, go to link.entourageyearbooks.com . Type in your school to the search field. You should see your school name pop up. Click on on your school to see your LiNK page. Note: you might be asked to login or register. A LiNK login is different from your Entourage Yearbooks login in that you use to make your yearbook project. Please create a unique login for the LiNK website.
